Chenrezig

One of the main practices at the Dallas KTC is Chenrezig and its goal is to develop universal love and compassion for the benefit of all living beings. The formal sitting practice involves the use of chanting, visualization, mudras (physical gestures), and mantras to cultivate great love and compassion. The group Chenrezig practice done at our center doesn't have prerequisites. The mantra for Chenrezig is Om Mani Padme Hum.

Green Tara

Green Tara is a female bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism revered as a mother of compassion and wisdom, a savior from fear and danger, and a deity of active and enlightened activity. She is associated with overcoming obstacles, such as pride, ignorance, and desire, and her practices are common in all Tibetan Buddhist traditions. The mantra for Green Tara is Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha.

Medicine Buddha

The Medicine Buddha, or Bhaisajyaguru, is a Buddhist deity associated with healing, who is worshipped for his ability to alleviate physical and mental suffering. He is often depicted holding a medicine bowl in his left hand and a sprig of the haritaki plant in his right, symbolizing his role as a compassionate healer. Devotees can invoke his healing power by reciting his mantra, visualizing him, and making offerings. The Medicine Buddha mantra is Tayata, Om Bekadze Bekadze, Maha Bekadze, Radza Sumugate Soha.
