VISITING TEACHERS
ARI GOLDFIELD AT THE KTC
October 27th -
29th
August 2006
Dear Lama Dudjom Dorjee and Sangha,
Thank you very much for your email. I am so happy to hear that your tour of Europe went well! The students there are very fortunate to have been able to receive your teachings.
Rinpoche is doing very well in retreat. He told me not to tell anyone where he is in retreat, but please know that he is in excellent health. I periodically report to him about how things are going via email.
With me, thanks to Rinpoche's blessings, things are going very well. I am now at Karme Choling where 75 of Rinpoche's students will gather for the next two weeks. Since April, I have been traveling in Europe and the USA to the Dharma centers where Rinpoche teaches. I have been giving explanations of the Moon of Wisdom, the Sun of Wisdom, and Milarepa's songs. So far the courses have gone very well. The students say they are happy at the courses and that they feel Rinpoche's blessings strongly.
I am looking forward to seeing you in October. I always remember the kindness of Lama Dudjom and the devotion and enthusiasm for the teachings that the Dallas sangha has. When I think of you, it makes me very happy.
It is a good opportunity for me to be able to inform you that the plan is for me to be accompanied by Ms. Rose Taylor on my trip to Dallas. Rose is Rinpoche's student and for the past year, she has been teaching both English and Tibetan Dharma texts to several of the nuns in Nepal and Bhutan, as well as teaching at the annual course for Westerners at Pullahari. She speaks and reads Tibetan well. Rinpoche told her to travel with me so that I could teach her the "Moon of Wisdom" in Tibetan, so that she could teach the nuns this next year. So I hope it is alright with you that she come with me to Dallas.
Also, I have not purchased flight tickets yet, but as soon as I do, I will let you know.
Sarva Mangalam, Ari

Lama Dudjom Dorjee, Bardor Tulku Rinpoche, and Lama Yeshe 2003
Bardor Tulku is a resident lama at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra. Rinpoche was born in Kham, East Tibet, in 1950. He is a third incarnation of Terchen Barway Dorje who, in a previous life, had been one of the twenty-five disciples of Guru Rinpoche. Bardor Tulku Rinpoche received his monastic training under the guidance of His Holiness the 16th Karmapa. In 1976, at the request of His Hoiness, Rinpoche came to Karma Triyana Dharmachakra to live and to teach. He has also founded the Raktrul Foundation in Redhook, NY with Kunzang Palchen Ling as the dharma center under its auspices. Rinpoche skillfully guides students through his activity at KTD, at Kunzang Palchen Ling, and on his extensive travels.
Bardor Tulku Rinpoche visits KTC frequently and is accompanied by his translator, Lama Yeshe Gyamtso. Lama Yeshe has a sharp wit and a keen mind which make him a delight to listen to. Those attending usually have a question and answer session with the Rinpoche or with Lama Yeshe.
